Rajdhani College, DU,Replica Chanel, is starting a certificate course. Fingerprints and Document Examination. The course will benefit students who pursue a career in forensic sciences and also help profes?sionals like law-yers, bankers,Prada Purses, dete?ctives and personnel from the police department by providing an edge to their careers.

The course is of three-month dura?tion. Students will have to take four exa minations. Paper I, Fingerprint Examination, will focus on theory. Paper II will deal with forensic observa?tion of forged documents. Paper III and IV are practical examinations where students will have to submit a field report based on their visit to a forensic laboratory. Another part of the practi?cal examination will focus on hand?writing analysis.

The course will form a base for students who would like to pursue a career in forensic sciences. Students who wish to become private detectives or would like to work with crime investigation teams would get a taster while visiting labs and meeting experts in the field of foren-sics, said Mukta Sharma,Hermes kelly, course co-coordinator.

The college has roped in experts to give the lectures. They include V N Sehgal, former director. Central Forensic Labor?atory, V C Mishra, a lawyer and hand?writing expert. A senior manager in the Punjab Natio?nal Bank and an expert in detecting white collar crime will teach forgery detection in documents like cheques and wills.

The course is open to all students and will cost Rs 3,000. The last date for registration is December 7 and the course will begin on December 10.
